Tanc De L’Olivar

Concept

The furniture concept for Tanca de L’Olivar centers on a muted, neutral palette that allows the architecture and natural materials to remain the true focal points. Each piece is chosen to complement and elevate the design rather than compete with it. Light oiled oak chairs pick up the tone of the wooden beams, adding subtle warmth while keeping the palette calm and monochromatic. Combined with natural materials like jute and soft linens, the furnishings bring a refined, Mediterranean feel to the space. The living room centers on a large fireplace, with lounge chairs positioned to create an inviting spot right beside the fireplace. The organic built-in sofa is decorated with plentiful loose linen cushions, while a round jute rug anchors two armchairs and a microcement coffee table, creating an effortless and elegant feel. Across the room, a sofa sits on an oval jute rug creating a softer, more intimate nook, while terracotta handmade-style pots placed behind it add warmth and greenery to reinforce the earthy palette and introduce subtle decoration.
